Greenman BroochGreenman Brooch Ref: greenman
A Pagan spirit of the forest, the Green Man symbolises regeneration and rebirth. He his often sculptured in the form of a gargoyle head with leaves growing from his mouth and hair. His image originates far back in time and reappears constantly throughout the ages.

The Green Man's connection with growth and nature often leads to his association with May Day, based on the Pagan festivals of fertility.
