Silver Cardonough Cross Pendant Ref: Pd1001 The ring-less cross of Carndonough, was traditionally regarded as one of the earliest crosses because of the simple incised technique of carving and the broad ribbon interlace. At a later date, sometine in the 9th century, is now preferred. The east face has two figured scenes. The larger of the two is the "The Crucifixion" with angels above and below lower scene is thought to be the three holy women walking toward the tomb, a scene that was frequently substituted for, but indicating "The Resurrection."

Silver Moone Cross Pendant Ref: PD1065 This cross is a copy of one found about 1835 buried in Moone Abbey Churchyard, near the South eastern wall of the old Abbey church.
This scene in particular is a copy from the north face North Face, the cross-head consists of a large spiral with small panels in the arms. The shaft panels are filled with animals among which are a cow, a deer and two dogs. The Panel below the ring has a diamond shaped design on a background of small bosses. The upper panel has a six spiral pattern.
